Job purpose
The Safety Compliance Director will develop and oversee all the safety regulations, policies, and procedures for both Warehouse locations. The successful candidate will help to develop, implement and enforce safety standards, policies, and programs. Maintains regulatory audits, certifications, safety training programs, standard operating procedures, standardized work instructions etc.

Education
Preferred: B.S. degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Requirement: Associates degree from an accredited college or university plus 5 years safety experience or any equivalent combination or experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Skills
Detail-oriented, and possess strong computer skills, including MS Office and Excel
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working within a fast-paced distribution center, where the employee will need to have the ability to adapt to the work environment. While performing duties, the employee is frequently exposed to dirt, dust, and debris as well as powered material handling equipment and commercial truck traffic.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50-75+lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100+ lbs.
